Last night I was with Pastor Murray Kelly and my friends at Dothan First. p1000410.JPG This is an incredible church that I enjoy speaking at as often as I can. Last night was an incredible move of the Holy Spirit. I really think the Lord was present to give freedom from some of the enemies bondage. I preached a message called, “The Anointing is on the Announcement!” Based on the fact that we are not called for war but as Ambassadors. We have not come to set people free but to declare their freedom which has already been appropriated for them though Christ. The enemy comes for three things;to deceive, to dominate and to destroy. The facts are we have all been born into this prison. We have all been given the opportunity to leave our prison. Lastly that freedom is only realized ultimately when we not only leave our prisons but have the prison leave us. Most of our problems stem not from people or past but the present taunting of the enemy that we still are less than those who have never been where we have. The Church was so kind to help us with the project we are working with in Angola. They invested with us to train pastors in this country that is experiencing incredible revival but is in great need. I am every grateful for this investment and know that God is going to use it to train pastors so that a greater harvest will be experienced in Angola!

Sunday morning I was with my friends in Millbrook Alabama at the great Crossroads Assembly of God Church. Being with my friends Chuck and Kiesha was so much fun. These folks at one time served on my staff at Capital Christian Center in Montgomery, Alabama. p1000406.jpgThey served with incredible faithfulness and without salary. Giving all they could to build a church in Montgomery. Now they are doing it again by committing to pastor in Millbrook. I hope the people there at Crossroads really comprehends and appreciates the gift they have in this fine couple. I am sure that they do and work very hard to communicate their love to both their pastors! The music was great Sunday with the videos they used. They don’t have skilled musicians in the church so they use videos to do worship and they were really incredible. Brother Charles and the ladies who led the worship were outstanding. I can’t wait to go back and be with my friends in the future!

p1000382.JPGI have been in Alabama for about a week. Started with ministry at the Lomax First Assembly. Pastor Jeff Calhoun is the pastor at this wonderful church. They are one of the fastest growing churches in the nation. It is one of the friendliest group of people I have ever been with. I always have a fun time when I am with them. This church is full of life and excitement about their tomorrow’s. I have had some influence with pastor Jeff though the years. I am really proud of him and his leadership.  I attended the Alabama District council the next Monday though Wednesday of the week. It is always great to see my friends at District Council. To me it is like seeing family again to be at the council. It is so good to have a fellowship of friends who work for the same things. In the Assemblies of God we have this great passion to reach the lost around the world. I know there are some that have got derailed from the mission. Overall the family is focused on reaching the lost. Congratulations to the district Staff for all the hard work of organizing the council and making it a time to remember.   I am leaving here and headed to Florida for a few days of Light for the Lost tour in the West Florida district. I am really excited to be in the south for a few days to see some of my old friends. This week will be filled with road miles, long hours and a few banquets. I can’t wait for the adventure to begin!

I just finished four nights of LFTL services in Southern Missouri. What a great few days I have just experienced here in the Ozarks. The goals were about $150,000.00 for the four nights. I am pleased with the results and hope that the leadership in this district will have an incredible year. District Missions Director, James McHaffie is doing an incredible job of leadership here in Southern Missouri. photo_032408_001.jpg Don Jacques and Larry Pace also do an incredible job of organization and preparation for the banquets. I met some great laymen and pastors whom I hope will become life long friends. I love helping missionaries and also assisting churches to reach their dreams of becoming missionary churches. We live in a wonderful day with all types of possibilities to be successful. When it comes to reaching the lost we have no other choice but to succeed in that mandate!    Dave
